LIN PRO is a high energy, quality protein feed ingredient
which is easily digested by chickens for efficient growth and optimum
health.
The feeding of diets high in Omega-3 fatty acids (linolenic acid)
will promote healthy tissue formation and healthier birds. For this
reason we recommend feeding 8-10% in the breeding ration.
LIN PRO will improve utilization of the energy components
in the diet due to its higher level of unsaturated fatty acid.
Inclusion in the diet should be a minimum of 9% to a maximum of
15% LIN PRO.
This synergistic or added effect for enhancing performance by including
animal and vegetable fat together is well known. High levels of
fat in the diet will increase intestinal retention time. This means
increased efficiency of feed utilization and more complete digestion.
It is felt that some chicks might have a deficiency in tissue formation
without Omega-3 fatty acids. Using LIN PRO adds the insurance
factor necessary to ensure the good health and livability of young
chicks.
LIN PRO PRODUCING
OMEGA-3 ENRICHED EGGS
Feed 18-20% of the laying bird ration to achieve a significant amount
(more than 10 times) of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) into the egg
yolk. The increase in ALA content is a gradual process (approximately
4 weeks) to reach maximum levels of ALA content.
Rations supplemented with Vitamin E will provide excess dietary
Vitamin E deposited in egg yolks and, yolks may contain up to 8
times the content normally found in an egg. This will further enhance
the nutritional quality of Omega-3 fatty acid-enriched eggs. Accordingly
we recommend feeding 40 IU Vitamin E per kg of diet.
LIN PRO - OMEGA-3 ENRICHED
BROILER MEAT
Feeding 10-20% LIN PRO in the diet can significantly increase
the Omega-3 content of the meat. This is a major benefit for health
conscious consumers.
